Smoking Cessation in Pregnancy

We provide a free cessation service for pregnant women and their extended families / whanau.

This is a one-on-one home visiting service where we offer support, advice and, if required, subsidised nicotine replacement therapy. All our staff are trained using the National Smoking Cessation Guidelines.

On our cessation staff we have two Maori, one Cook Island Maori, one Niuean and a European practitioner and will match clients appropriately where possible.

We will accept referrals from midwives, general practitioners and the women themselves.
