This new healthcare facility will be the ‘state of the art’ – meaning that the range and quality of services will be un-matched in New Zealand! Yes, a bold statement! We have designed a new electronic health record which patients will have access to wherever they are.  Other healthcare providers will have access to the same notes – all managed by you.  This is particularly important if managing a chronic condition such as diabetes.  The doctor can enter in some notes – so too can the nurse, and the podiatrist, and the dietician and the retinal screener ……  Why is this important? You get much better care if all the people in your ‘care team’ can see what is happening – and you can see too!
